I can't believe that this is the same Patriots team that I've been watching this entire season.

Coaching has been horrible. A drop kick kick-off that results in excellent field position and give the Eagle great field position and they score. That starts the momentum shift. 15 Seconds to go in the half and instead of throwing the ball on fourth down for 3 yards,Ryan Allen lazily gets the punt blocked and the score is tied at the half.

Second half-------Brady throws what appears to be a touchdown to Amendola only Amendola gets knocked down and Jemkins returns the INT 100 yards for the TD. Sproles is back for another punt and the patriots literally watch him take the ball back 83 yards for a 28-14 lead.

1 minutes ago, Amendola throws a 40 yard pass to Brady only to have Brady throw the ball to the Eagles in the end zone for his second INT.

Seriously, Belichick needs to take a shower with Brady and let Patricia coach the rest game and have Grappolo play QB. Maybe BB & TB will wake up.

LaFell should be cut after the game - giving up on routes, running the wrong routes... Carolina can have him back.

Way, way, way, too many dropped passes.

A drop kick, kick off. Pooch punt. Lazy punt that gets blocked.

Horrible special teams on punt return by Sproles.

In all honesty, the Patriots didn't deserve to win. With a fumble recovery with one minute on the clock and six out of seven passes touched but not caught is totally unacceptable for a professional football team.

Patriots/BB attempt to put the game away with a trick onside and it backfires. It pissed off Philly and rightfully so. Several blunders and screw ups ... terrible

But what scares me was the Patriots were absolutely non-competitive for the entire 3rd qtr ... add to that an OL that can't pass block or get any running game going and the playoffs look like a cliff ...

I have no doubt in my mind that the Pats are still the top dog in the NFL. Once Gronk and the OL starts to get healthy, this will all be in the past. Luckily, you have a nice cushion and will win the division yet again. The Pats will be fine and it won't matter if you play on the road or in Foxboro. Get healthy and keep Brady safe and you should get through the AFC.

Look at it this way, if you were asked at the beginning of the season if you would be happy with a record of 10-2, would you say yes? Not happy how they got there, however. BB had a few brain cramps and TB had a mediocre game when it counted. Also, not happy with how the Eagles were able to control the line of scrimmage. Of course, special team play ultimately lost the game for the Pats. Will the first 2 game losing streak since 2012 finally light a fire under the Pats? They will still make the playoffs, just made their lives a little more difficult.

The biggest problem with the Patriots is that they are so dependent on Tom Brady dragging their collective asses out of every fire, that they can't do anything for themselves. They just believe so strongly that he can overcome any obstacle and save them, that they just fold up.

Sadly, he would have pulled them from the brink of defeat except that every ball Brady threw was dropped or just not caught.

Chandler had a magnificent catch early in the game and never caught another ball. Twice, beautifully thrown balls sailed right through his hands. He didn't drop them, he just didn't catch them. Twice LaFell had balls on his fingers and he just doesn't have the hand strength to fold his wrists and pull the ball in. In all honesty, my 13 year old grandson has stronger hands than Chandler or LaFell. Seriously, he would have caught at least 75% of the dropped balls yesterday. I know this because I've thrown at least 10,000 balls to him in my back yard since he was 3. Kraft can pay 3 guys off the street $500 to drop footballs rather than several million.

I'm really disappointed in Belichick. Why have Ebner drop kick a kick off? The Eagle couldn't do anything on offense and he gave them the ball on the 43. three minutes later their in the end zone and you feel the momemtum start to shift. The he makes another bone head decision, Instead of running or throwing the ball with 15 seconds left in the half, he has Allen try to directionalize the punt and Allen gets lazy.....punt blocked. This isn't the first or even second time that BB has given up the farm right before the half....it's becoming a habit game after game. Kraft needs to just straight up tell him, "No more points within 1 minute of the half". Simple Bill, you work for me and I'm sick of watching the same problem every week. FIX IT.

This game was lost on these factors and in the following order:

1) Coaching and stupid play calls
2) Brady not protecting the ball
3) Dropped passes
4) O Line struggles
4) Missed tackles

Before we get too down, recall game 4 of last year. You're never as good as your last game and never as bad as your last game. Playoffs will be another story but yeah, BB and TB need to spend some serious time with this game film.

One less fluke play and it would have been a win. Philly brought it and deserved to win but the Pats aren't finished just yet.

Seriously.
Keep your panties on girls.

A few special teams screw ups that coincidently happened in the same game as a couple TB screw ups.
This is good.
Get over the complacency now and be hungry heading into the playoffs.

Receivers not trying 110% for the catch...?
Tell you what, suit up Moss and T.O. both and tell LaFell he is on thin ice. See how hard he tries then.

ya know what is embarrassing?? You have 7 Safeties on this team because they all play ST. You have RB's on your team who suck, but they play ST. You have LB's on your team who suck, but they play ST. All these fucking guys who only play ST taking up roster spots, and we SUCK at ST!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thin at WR! Thin at RB! Thin at LB! Thin at CB! Yet lets keep signing ST guys who could not see the filed on any other team in the league, and fucking start them! This teams depth at key postilions are ST guys. We have 3 WR, 2 of them can't catch a fucking cold. 3 TE, one who was a LT and the other was a PS guy in SF. We have a RB who can't cut to save his life, another who was a waste of a 4th rd pick until Sunday, and a ST guy who has caught to long passes. Both WR picks 3 yrs have made no impact at all. One got cut, and the other can't stay healthy....I have no idea how this team is going to pull this shit out, but I bet my ass they do....Then we can watch BB draft another S or CB who is not on anyone's draft board next yr.

And why the fuck do we continue to throw the deep ball to guys who have shit for hands. That is not what this offense is about.

McDummy was stupid again. Run when he should have passed, and passed when he should have run. He continuously fucks up at the end of the game/half with his play calling. They should have run all dam game and used play action for the passing game.

I don't like where this team is heading.....However it was nice to see Philly OT jump all fucking game and only get called once. The Johnson false start in the 4th on that completion to Cooper was just insane it was not called, or was it. Seems this was ignored all game, but NE holding was not. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you seriously just say our special teams sucks???? LMAO. Sure. We have the best kicker in the game as well as the best punt returner in the game(Edelman) when he's healthy. We almost never give up big plays and if you've been watching the games this season you'd realize NE almost always wins the field position battles. Do you not understand the Pats are simply banged up bad right now? I wonder if you thought ST's sucked three weeks ago? I doubt it.

ST is not banged up. When was the last PR for a TD? They actually have been playing on the edge the past few weeks. It blew up on Sunday.

OK, you're right. Our ST sucks. Our offense sucks. Our defense sucks. Coaching sucks. Worst team ever.

Feel better now?

Feel free to show me where I said this? All I said was ST sucked. We have so may roster spots for guys who are on ST and they go out there and suck it up. We are thin at some very important skill positions because we carry 7 Safeties who all play ST, 2 LB who are ST guys. Are RB are ST guys besides for Blount. Do you not realize this?? For the past 3 weeks I have seen the ST slowly become a liability. They are giving up bigger runs on KO, punts where getting close to being blocked and we were not getting any returns from the punt game or KO. It all come to a head during the Philly game. Maybe it has to do with coaching, maybe injuries, who knows....all I know is this team is suffering at WR, LB, RB because we have so many ST guys as the "next man up". Some of these guys would not see the field unless it was ST. Look at Frenny. ST guy his whole career, he has been starting over Mayo since day 1, he is not very good at all. BUT he plays ST so he gets a spot. Where is Bostic??? Oh that's right, ST guy....Awesome!!!! So we have 2 LB who can play, and 1 WR who is legit, but a back up RB and 7 Safeties who can cover kicks......It is just frustrating at times to me. Your only as good as your next man up, and some of these guys are not very good at all...Now please show me where I said all the other things..
