The dude deserves it. Definitely not Wiggins. Wiggins is all potential (and a lot of it, in my opinion. Lot of talent) and Ejim was a force this year.

Without a doubt Lon Kruger is COtY in the BIG XII.

Sure that makes me look like a homer, which I am, but just look at what the man has done. In his third year OU went from the basement to 2nd seed in the conf tourney.

OU has an opportunity to make some noise this March.

I would of voted Staten POY but don't have a huge problem with Ejim.

Now if Rick Barnes would of swept Oklahoma and finished 2nd in the league instead of the other way around I would understand him getting coach of the year.

Barnes lost all of his top scorers from a team that had went 16-18(7-11) last season and was predicted to finish 8th. They went 7th last season. So, they were supposed to be worse.

This season they finished in a tie for 3rd and have gone 22-9, which is an incredible surprise.

It also possible that no one likes the Sooners in the Big 12. Are the Sooners replacing the Cornhuskers as the most disparaged school in the Big 12?:rollseyes:

In the last 12 meetings, Barnes is 8-4 vs the Sooners and 21-17 overall.
This season he had the Horns winning 4 straight games against Top 25 team. First time it had been done since 1997.
