Boise State has now won 8 straight softball games. The latest win was a 5-3 win over Yale at the Grand Canyon University Purple Classic tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
Micaela Leal made her very first start of the season and went the full 7 innings. She gave up 2 earned runs (1 unearned run). The two earned runs occurred in the 7th inning - when IMO the coach SHOULD have relieved her - but oh well.
Boise State goes for their 9th straight win today at 11 a.m. against the host school - Grand Canyon University. The game can be seen here:
