According to Schefter, he suffered a set-back in practice this week. Starting to feel very much like the 2014 Marvin Jones story.

It's obvious that he's out this week. You have to figure that the next news we'll hear is that he's going on IR for the season. He's a great talent..... But he can't stay healthy.

Maybe next time he's hurt he wont wait 6 months to have surgery.

Probably a minor back tweak. These things are not uncommon early in the year during OTA's and training camp, but he's missed all those. I'd wager he'll have a few early minor bumps and bruises associated with getting into actual football shape, but the unfortunate thing is now he doesn't have time to rest and miss practices as each week this team needs him in the games.

Hard to know what is going on..... If he had a minor tweak of his back, you'd figure that he would be rehabbing with the team. But the media all reported no sighting of him. I would usually associate that with being absent to see a specialist.

I also think it's weird that the insiders were reporting seeing him limping after Monday's practice, but the team guys had nothing to say about this. On the one hand, I know that Schefter and the other NFL insiders sometimes embellish stories or have faulty sources to make 'big' stories. On the other hand, we know that Hobs and the team guys won't speak outside of school.

I guess we'll know more on Sunday..... And the Sunday after..... And if we don't see him by the end of the month, you have to wonder if we'll see him at all.

Ogbuei and Fisher also didn't practice today.

Apparently Tobin likes them soft.

this sport is not for people who get injured easily. He should take up lawn bowling, or golf.

Seems like reports indicate that Tyler will be likely to be back in a more 'complete' role this Sun against the Skins.

I know he only played limited snaps last week but how did he look from a Bengals fan perspective?

Going to be a nightmare covering him and AJ who will get his regardless IMO.

He looked stiff..... And maybe a bit tentative. But he's been out a while and it will probably take some time to get his legs under him. He's a big target though and you'd figure if he's even 75% of himself in the passing game that he'd be better than the other guys we have at the position.

Looks like Jordan Reed will likely be back for us too this Sun. Surprisingly, Vernon Davis and Niles Paul filled in well for Reeds absence, they are actually better run blockers and we actually had a better run game with Reed out. Be interesting to see how much he actually plays this Sun.
