Would allow us to go White or Scherff in the first.

From what I have seen, at this point Beasley and Ray feel like an even bigger reach than Scherff.

My only beef with Vic Beasley is his lack of presence against the run. Shane Ray seems too light in the ass and is a one-year wonder.

I've settled on Scherff, White, or trade down. I'm good if they can pull off either one of those three scenarios. I have gone back and forth on who I want. I'm no expert. I was happy when we took Heath and Desmond, but I do like White, and I think the bust potential on Scherff is very low.

I heard Cooper is coming in for a visit. Not sure if White is or has, but it makes me think Cooper is higher on Scot's board than White. Cooper is a great route runner, but 6'3 4.2 40 is enticing.

Yeah. This guy is a very good player, I would take him in the mid to late second. I hate UVA, but they have had some good defensive talent the last few years. Anthony Harris is another who I think is a bit underrated.

Quin Blanding their current young safety will probably be a 1st rounder in a couple years.

That highlight tape was impressive for sure. But why do so many edge rushers this year look like wide receivers? I'm sure he can bulk up a bit but at that size I'm having a hard time believing he can be a full time starter.

I feel the same way. Beasley, Ray, Gregory, and Shaq all look like strong safeties. I'm sure some, if not all will turn out to be solid pros, but how is Scherff any more of a reach than a pot head, a guy who is already battling a toe injury, Beasley, who some are already saying won't be able to play on 1st and 2nd down, and Fowler who probably won't be there? Scouts and pundits to a man said don't look for double digit sacks from Fowler. He's just solid in every area.

I've come to the conclusion that this is something that I won't be able to figure out. Just have to wait till Thursday and see what Scot does. Based on his track record, we have a real good shot at getting a real good player.

If we stay at 5, I'm guessing Cooper or Williams myself.
