This is exactly what I thought would happen when we went up in the 1st. We sat back, didn't keep our feet moving, and the bolts stormed right back into the game. Terrible turnovers, little sustained offensive pressure, and where was our shot blocking?! Essentially mailed in those last two periods. Really disappointing performance in the final 40 minutes.

I blame a lot on CJ, he should have called a timeout after that second goal. He is awful at changing the momentum of a game and making last minute adjustments come game time. He is good, don't get me wrong, but clearly not what this team needs. He doesn't ignite this team. Look at Guy on the bench, the dude is a nut, that is the style we need, someone that is going to truly get across to these players. CJ looks like he has no emotion on the damn bench, it annoys the shit outta me.

What is it they say about a prevent defense? "It prevents you from winning".

This is why I never have a problem with teams keeping the hammer down, even if some think they are "running up the score". If anything history in sports has taught us, it's that no lead is safe. We saw it with the Sharks against Detroit in game 5 and in several other games and series already this year. Tampa Bay would be the last team I would sit back on. Way too much scoring depth on that team.

Ok, time for some inspiration. Maybe it's Tyler's turn to fly?

I think who ever wins this game tonight takes the series. Truly hope the Bruins learned from last game... That really pissed me off. I have been in a bad mood since. These guys are all NHL players, they fucking know not to play that prevent style of hockey. It has come back to bite them on the ass year after year. They better be fucking relentless tonight. And the crowd better feed this team some fucking ammo.

I have been as well. I couldn't agree with you more. It's not that I think a prevent style defensively isn't an effective system, it just isn't effective for the Bruins! We have showed in our two wins and the first period of the last game that we can get into their heads by driving up the score. I'm guessing they are going to start Smith in goal, and this guy is a perennial underachiever. We need to finish our checks and wear this team down. Put lots of rubber on goal and chase that fucker out of net like we did Rollie.

They really better come out firing on all cylinders tonight. Momentum is def in TB's favor after Saturday. We need to stifle that real quick in the first and not let up.

Is a solid 60 minute effort too much to ask, Bruins?!? Come on boys, let's get it done.
