Big day tomorrow as the early signing day hits. Lots of action going to happen. Currently, Nebraska sits at 22 commits... I expect at least 20 to sign their LOIs tomorrow. Bland will not, and it remains to be seen how much he is committed to Nebraska. The other 21 are supposed to sign but there could be one that might not. As for decisions... there are a few to be had. Here's who is deciding tomorrow and what I expect the result to be.
As always, don't shoot the messenger and if I'm wrong, I apologize, but recruiting is a difficult beast.
Ty Robinson (4-Star, DE) - Nebraska has been in on Ty for a long time, he is set to announce his decision and sign at 12:45pm CST on Wednesday. Nebraska and Oregon are vying for him the most with USC and Alabama as dark horses. Prediction: Nebraska
Lloyd Summerall (4-Star, OLB) - The Florida product has Nebraska in his top three along with home state schools Florida and Miami. He liked Nebraska a lot but was his OV and a visit from the entire Husker staff enough to get him out of state? We'll know at 10am CST. Prediction: Florida
Brant Banks (3-Star, DE) - Banks has been down to Nebraska and Baylor for quite some time know with Missouri waiting in the wings. Some see him as an OT, but Nebraska likes him as a DE. Up until now I thought Nebraska would only take one of either Banks or Robinson but now I think they take both (hey didn't get a JUCO DE) if Banks wants in. He announces at 10:30am CST. Prediction: Nebraska
Jimmy Fritzsche (3-Star, OT) - The OT from South Carolina was the sole visitor in the final weekend and is set to choose between Nebraska and Clemson tomorrow. Nebraska gave him an ultimatum while Clemson wanted him to wait till February. Will Clemson guarantee him an NLI tomorrow? I doubt it. We'll find out at 11am CST though. Prediction: Nebraska
Noa Pola-Gates (4-Star, DB) - Gates may sign tomorrow but he wont's announce till January which is why I put him last on the list. He also might not sign tomorrow... regardless we won't know his intentions until he announces on January 19th at the Polynesian Bowl. That said, it's down to Nebraska, ASU and Alabama. Prediction: Nebraska (on Jan 19)
Did I miss anyone? And any surprises you think might happen?
