Eagles looking good early. Bradford takes some shots, keeps ticking. Flacco picked twice. Nice running offense. Suspect running defense (but without all three starting ILBs in the rotation).

All in all, impressed!

The Eagles look damn good. Not perfect--some questionable calls against the Ravens early--but still, wow...

Barner will make it, and be the KR, and backup Sproles as RB/PR.

Run D is weak, but missing the big 3 ILB, as you said.

There is no pass rush, unless they're not showing their schemes.

Sanchez is still throwing too high, may get his WRs killed.

Bradford sharp, but needs to soften his touch on short passes. A good showing, and he took 2 hits, and survived.

Moffit does not look good. Better show up better next week, or he won't make it.

Its early but Chips personnel moves look legit after I ripped almost all of them. These guys look hungry and the next man up looks ready to play too.

10-15 years you can see just about everything in football. I've seen twice that and Chip may yet show me something i've never seen before in football.

People question Chip for his trades, but this looks like a good one. At the time, it was all "Ha ha Chip brings in another Duck LOL".

I can't find fault with any of Chip's trades or moves. He now has a real football guy as his personnel chief, looking for Chip's kind of players - team guys.

Not totally convinced that Barner will make the team although he has greatly improved his chances. Special Teams is make it or break it for these younger players, but for the returners, I really think the Eagles know they want to use Sproles and Huff and maybe Agholor in a pinch. The only reason Barner is out there is to fill space. Still, making the 53 is often more about gaging who would get stolen if you put them on the PS, and I think there is little question Barner will be on someone's 53, so I can see Kelly keeping him on ours.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they go as short as 7 players on the OL for that same reason. They only keep 7 on the 46 game day roster anyways, so it comes down to if they think the 8th or 9th guy will get stolen if they try to put him on the practice squad.
