Yup. I heard the same thing. No thanks!I live down here in Miami, Grimes has a crazy wife.
I wouldn't pick either one. Conklin, Jack, Alexander, and possibly a dark horse might come in Bosa? The #2 OT is probably in play as is the #2 QB. Neither of which would be available at 13.
Why? Is Howie making his a personal thing or something? This has bad PR written all over it. Lurie take control of your damn team will you!
Howie is killing it.
How is absolutely killing it....When you get rid of that kind of contract along with a player that has amounted to nothing for us the salary cap savings alone is a GREAT trade.
I was thinking we may be swapping firsts with Miami in order to make a trade with the Rams. We trade # 8 to the Rams for #15 and our 2nd rd pick back and the Rams draft their Qb.
Burnt Maxwell out? Thank you. Only problem is, this creates ANOTHER hole to fill. A very thin CB group just got thinner. And Carroll isn't signed yet.
Carroll should come at good value because he only played half the year. It's hard to find CBs. And I'm not sure if Rowe is better at CB or S yet. Keeping Carroll around should give us a good bit of flexibility the rest of the offseason and through the year while Schwartz figures out what to do with the secondary here.I wouldn't blow our new cap space on Carroll though. Would be great if we swap for the #8 pick. Then we could be in perfect position to get Alexander or Hargreaves.
Uh no. If we can undo the Alonso/Maxwell signings (Maxwell is overpaid and Alonso is not needed) it's a win-win. That we get anything is gravy.that's a little early isn't it??? We don't even know what we have gotten yet. You can pucker.. just don't make contact yet... :p
