Stay the path and build from within. If we are going to make a trade, trade roster players instead of kids. I'd rather pay a premium for a younger Shattenkirk that go after Byfuglien.

I was actually one of the few that liked the trade because Pronger gave them a chance to win a cup. If they win it no one's complaining I blame Carts more for choking it away...

Either way Buff is no where near Pronger so why chance it? If you really want him wait until FA next year and take your shot.

I was against everything Pronger and pretty vocally . I don't think I had much support though haha.

However the same reasons stand for Buff, except even more so. Because even in my extremely harsh critique of Pronger, he's still a lot better than Buff ever will be.

Haven't we learned anything from bringing in big contracts that make little sense for the future? Why continue to do the same thing and expect different results. Classic definition of insanity.
