KD>Durant

You are aware that Durant's first name is Kevin, aren't you?

Unless you want people to think you're saying Durant is better than himself some clarification of your post is in order.

This why I like bk, even though he say a lot of retarded shit. He isnt a fake Heat fan who is scared to give KD his props, thinking it would hurt Lebron's status as the best playet in the league, which he believes.

I just wish more Heat/Lebron fans give Kobe his well deserved props and vice versa with Lakers/Kobe fans on Lebron.

It would save us so much problems.

This scoring binge reminds me of 06 Kobe. Around the time he scored 81, he had several consecutive games of points in the 30, 40 and 50 ranges. The way KD is playing right now, I wouldn't be shocked if he came close to that 80 mark. ESPN should probably put up some sort of alert for KD that breaks into whatever show is on. It's just beautiful to watch

KD > Lebron

I'll put it down to typing error.

I am no idiot but not secretary material either. My typing is better than it used to be but still far from professional grade.

YOU BEAT ME TO IT. 2006 Kobe was flat out ridiculous and borderline unstoppable at certain points. He isn't quite on THAT type of scoring tear(I'm not sure if many other players ever were)....but with that said, much like 06, OKC's games are MUST WATCH if only because Durant might drop 40 or 50 on someone's head any night now. I'm with you, I'm waiting on the night when they just feed, and feed him to the point to where he gets in the 60's

Good point but even in 2004 he had the 40 point streak which was pretty impressive in itself. He did indeed HAVE to score all of those points in 2006, much like Durant as well

Funny how not long ago there was a thread criticizing KD for shooting too much and not being able to carry the Thunder in Westbrook's absence. I think one poster even made the claim that Westbrook was more important to the Thunder's success than KD. I had to laugh. 9-5 now and rolling. Dude is a bad man no doubt.

Durant is clearly the best in the league right now and its not even CLOSE. He has made such significant improvements to his game. Hes doing more with less in a tougher conference than LeBaldy

silly

He was shooting too much at that time. Since his 48 point game when he shot 41% on 34 shots, his shot selection got much better as in 4 of the last 7 games, he's taken 21 shots or fewer. Even he admitted he was shooting too much

Also, anybody know what LBJ's and KD's H2H record is?

LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant | Basketball-Reference.com

Posting H2H stats is kind of silly. First, it's a team game and these guys aren't playing one on one. Second, not sure how much these guys are guarding each other during a game. I suspect Lebron spends more time guarding KD than the opposite.

I thought KD couldn't get it done without Westbrook Bot?

He admitted that for one game. He had one other 30+ FGA game, but otherwise his shot selection has been fine. I just don't think you can put down some arbitrary number above which represents taking too many shots. That doesn't take into account the individuality of each game. He took 18 shots the game following the 34 shot game and they lost.

All of that is true about the H2H stats but it is not like LBJ's CLE teams were amazing.

I do not think I ever said he could not get it done during the regular season, I am pretty sure that I said that this would make or break his MVP campaign and that Westbrook is far more important to what the Thunder do than people are willing to admit.

KD has improved greatly over this stretch with his increased workload and offensive responsibility but I think what is more likely is that the entire team has also learned how to play together much better. They are 9-5 since the 27th but 5-1 the last 6 winning 4 in a row. As you mentioned this is a team game and the OKC are deep and very skilled.

Well this turned into a Lebron-KD thread and a little bit of Kobe.
