Whenever I watch thunder games Westbrook makes me want to rip my hair out. He's a chucker on a team with the most efficient scorer in the game. Don't get me wrong, he's a very good player, but he needs to learn to take a back seat to durant. Scott Brooks needs to gtfo of town too.

If he hates playing with Westbrook, who in their right mind could ever think he'd be fine playing with Carmelo?

he cannot be a fre agent for 18 months and this is already happening? and the Knicks would at best be 3rd in the running with OKC and the ACTUALLY good Wizards who actually have a very good point guard who leads the league in assists and is just entering hisprime

instead go play with chucker melo on a crap team when melo is already getting old and beat up?

this makes very little sense to me

Durant to Washington. He's from there, they have Wall... who actually distributes (leads league in assists per game) and they have more complete team than OKC does (if you take KD out of equation obviously)

Makes a ton of sense. Plus he gets out of the West... easier path to playoffs/finals.

Wizards would be real good with Wall, Beal and KD.

This! Westbrook gets on my fuckin nerves when he pulls this shit. Durant could be on a roll and the this clown wants to ballhog? I want to see Durant flourish in another system, Donatello is holding him back.

Agreed. I want him to play with a Wall or a Paul, heck even Curry and Lillard are great at distributing. Anyone BUT Westbrook or Irving. Hate when they play so selfishly and no stans dont even try to convince me otherwise with your stats Ive seen these fools play.

Hes the second best player in the league, why is noone voting for him. Id love to see him in a dubs uni but I dont think I see that happening but DC may be the second place I want him to go. One of the big markets, a great distributor in Wall, its time for Durant to shine!

Entire article is speculation based off an anonymous source "close to Durant" that said, yeah he likes New York.

They probably spoke to his mail man.

Hey when you are as bad as the Knicks, you need someway to generate a buzz and putting KDs name next to the New York Knicks will certainly due that. Cheap ass journalism, if that's what you wanna call it.

Meh, the Knicks are rumored to be getting every single superstar when they become a free agent. Durant is just the next guy in line. I'm sure Anthony Davis will too.

Just...WOW

Thunder officials understand there are no guarantees with Durant. They know they can offer the most money -- several executives believe a max deal for Durant in the new TV revenue-infused market in 2016 could be worth in the neighborhood of $200 million over five years -- and they believe Durant likes playing in Oklahoma City. “I think he likes his teammates,” said Brooks. “That’s always important.” Sports Illustrated
