85 yard completion (Jones to Rahming - longest ever)
5 touchdowns passing (Jones - most ever)
6 touchdowns responsible for (Jones - most ever)
56 points (most ever)
Also, Duke finished the season with 31 passing touchdowns, the most ever in the program's history
How Bout Dem Blue Devils . . . . . Congratulations douggie!
Thanks! I'm really proud of the turnaround for the Duke Football program to where at least they are competitive now. Cutcliffe commands respect and has it! Daniel Jones is probably gone to the NFL, but I'm happy for him and we shall definitely miss him next season. Quentin Harris is a pretty good QB and can handle the job next year so I'm OK with Jones taking the next step.
It's hard to believe Daniel Jones' rapid paced improvement. He was in the class of 2015 and gray-shirted sitting out and paying his own way that first Fall Semester, then getting a scholarship in the Spring of 2016. I remember Duke hosted 14 commits the same December weekend with Jones being the sole undecided and uncommitted, even though he was looking at a previous commitment to Princeton. Look at him now.
What a job by Coach Cut!
douggie, You answered my question before I could ask you which is what is Daniel Jones going to do, leave or stay? He said on WRAL TV sports tonight that he was still undecided even though he probably already knows what he is going to do.
Daniel Jones and Joe Giles-Harris declare for the NFL Draft
Duke quarterback Daniel Jones, linebacker Joe Giles-Harris entering 2019 NFL Draft
I saw that tonight and I think both of them will be quality NFL players.
I think so too. Tough game tonight for the Pack
