It think it was on Marchant, sometime in the second period. It wasn't that I thought it shouldn't have been a penalty... because it was obvious. The thing that struck me was Tootoo acted like he had just been shot by a .12 gauge. Tootoo is one tough customer and I just thought he acted that one out more than it needed to be.

Trust me, though... I'm no fan of the ducks. I'm very pleased with how that series is playing out.

Crosby joke? People are going to remember what they want about him. But, since his rookie season, he's cleaned up his act.

Suicide is a selfish act. I had two experiences in my life where people close to me took their own life. I suppose in rare cases its justified, but ultimately, it just ends up hurting more people.

I never heard about that, kinda catches me off guard about him. Explains a lot about his battle with drugs/pills I guess, but then again a lot of Eskimos suffer from alcoholism (no racism intended here)

I agree pride, that is a sad tale. I never knew that about Tootoo, either.

I showed some semblance of restraint ... didnt even go to that smilie that exists

anyhow

you guys should check out the documentary "Team Spirit". It followed the Tootoo brothers rise in hockey. Very sadly, it was being filmed at the same time when Jordin was trying out at the 02 cdn junior team summer camp and terence killed himself

Team Spirit: The Jordin and Terence Tootoo Story starts during the summer of 2002 in Rankin Inlet, a tiny arctic community in Canada's newly created Nunavut territory. Just as the Inuit-one of the indigenous peoples of Canada's north-are realizing the dream of self-government in their own territory, two young brothers are also making history.

Terence and Jordin Tootoo grew up playing street hockey in a region known for its harsh winters and 22 hours of darkness per day in mid-season. In the eyes of their community, the brothers are already hockey superstars, but their talents are about to attract attention at hockey's highest levels. Twenty-two-year old Terence has become the first Inuit hockey player to play professionally, and 19-year-old Jordin is trying out for Canada's 2002 national junior team and ultimately the NHL.

But tragedy strikes when Terence suddenly commits suicide. A big favourite with his Roanoke Express teammates, Terence is mourned by family, friends, Inuit people across Nunavut, and his many fans in his adopted hockey home in Virginia. Jordin, left with the full weight of role-model pressure and the increasing glare of the media spotlight, strives to carry on and realize his NHL dreams.

You ever watch Alaska State Troopers? I was very surprised about some of the comments about suicide, rap, depression, and all that stuff that goes on there.

Suicide is never justified.

Suicide is never justified.

What if your death will save someone else or multiples peoples lives (LIKE CHARLIE ON LOST!!!)

Or what if you had a terrible terminal disease that would render you completely unable to care for yourself and leave you in constant pain very quickly?

Yea that show was pretty wild, it's crazy how alcohol is illegal there and they just pour out all the confiscated liquor.

I didn't know any of this about Tootoo, I really want to see this movie now :confused2:

Feigned getting high-sticked. Blum dove at the end of Game 3. Only two that I saw. They came at bad times for the Ducks, which is why BM's panties are in knots.

When Carlyle criticized the referees for Murray's check on Visnovsky, they were brutal towards the Ducks the next game. They need to shut the fuck up and feed the Fin; they can win with talent - not bitching.
