Couturier? Larsson? Why so hung up on Nugent-Hopkins? And for the record, that dude is seriously gonna need a nickname.

Couturier and Larsson will likely be gone by the time the Flames have their first selection (Oilers, Bruins (from Leafs), and Isles will nab those guys).

/That is, unless Sutter trades Kipper and Iggy

im guessing he already unfortunately goes by "Nugget"

the totally inappropriate comparisons are already being made about him ie the next Joe Sakic

There's no way I'm trading Bizzle McDizzle.....not even for a top 3 draft pick.

Hmm. I'd heard he was more playmaker than sniper. I was imagining (from what little I've read) that he was more Forsberg than Sakic.

I used to think it was just because they were from burnaby but Ive heard Ferraro do the comparison and Le Pierre was his usual exagerating self regarding the guy

and this

He may like Spezza, but the player he most resembles in style is Joe Sakic, and the similarities extend beyond their sharing of Burnaby as a hometown. Nugent-Hopkins can make plays at tempo, feather passes through traffic and has a quick release. He entered Tuesday's game in Everett fourth in league scoring (29 points) and second in assists (24).

The Coyotes should trade up to grab the #1 pick and select Couturier seeing as how he's a native of Phoenix. What a great marketing tool that could be to help create some interest.
