Congrats to Drew Pearson. He's waited awhile. For a guy who converted from a QB to a WR out of Tulsa to an undrafted free agent of the Cowboys...and now the NFL Hall-of-fame...
Yeah, that's right. I called it the NFL Hall-of-Fame because that's what it is. Does anyone know if they've discussed renaming it? It's long overdue...kinda like Drew Pearson's election.

Congrats to Drew! Long overdue induction to the Hall. Enjoy 88 you have a lot of conversations after hours to get caught up on. ( the busts whisper at night) for the ones that don’t know the legend per Michael Irvin.

It a disgrace it took this long. It really is. I remember him as one of my favorite players on the Cowboys while I was growing up in the 70's and early 80's. He was always making huge catches when it looked like they were going to lose. Captain Comeback always looked for 88 when he needed a big play.

As did Danny White.

Danny White or Tony Romo.

Who was more snake bitten.

Both should have won more than they did, but neither could get over that hump.
I’m gonna say Danny. That damn Niners game was there for the taking. And who knows about the Redskins game the next year had he not got knocked out...

Is what it is, though.

The Catch still haunts me. The Too Tall wasn't tall enough....
Never forget that Niner game. Cowboys nearly pulled that game out. I also remember the Niners blew out the Cowboys in the regular season Danny White just could not get past the NFC Champiinship unfortunately.

I think Romo was better than White. I just never really liked White, although that was because i wished Staubach was still playing. White had the better defense and coaching.in the early 80s
