These are always fun to do but not realistic. For instance in one of the runs through this I got
1st Jake Fisher,
2nd Jalen Collins
3rd Breshard Perriman
4th Byron Jones
5th Bryce Petty, Donovan Smith
6th Jesse James
7th Tony Lippett

The first 4 guys are top 40 picks, the next two guys are most likely late 2nd early 3rd round picks. James anywhere from 4th-5th and Lippett the same thing

Yeah, I have gotten alot of the same thing. Its only as good as the board they use and the good and the bad is they give you several options on which board to run it from. I think some of the boards are fairly old.

My impression is the CBS big board may be more complete and up to date than the others.

This is what I got drafting against the CBS Board....

1 CB BYRON JONES
CONNECTICUT

2 WR NELSON AGHOLOR
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

3 OG ALI MARPET
HOBART

4 CB JOSH SHAW
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

5 WR CHRIS CONLEY
GEORGIA

5 OLB XZAVIER DICKSON
ALABAMA

6 OT ANDREW DONNAL
IOWA

7 QB BRYAN BENNETT
SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA

They actually had Wayans available in the first, but I took Jones anyways. Personal bias plus I really don't think he will be available.

I was trying to draft 2 DBs, 2 WRs, 2 OL, 1 OLB and 1 QB.

I've been spending way too much time playing with this simulator. Its interesting as there seems to be some randomness to it, so even running the same setting produces different results. I think the CBS board is a fair representation of a good board, so I have been using that. Here is what I think I have learned...

- If the Eagles need a good corner (which they do), they better draft him in the first, as the ones they have been eyeing will probably all be gone by pick 2. The good news is they can probably have their pick at 20, and could even trade down a few spots and still get their man.
- There stands a good chance of getting a real good WR in round 2. Guys like Ogohor, Strong, DGB and Devin Smith seem to show up often as good value picks in this spot. It seems there is just enough good quantity for a WR ranked in the late 30s or 40s to drop to pick 52.
- Round 3 seems to be the Guard round. You can find really good, capable of starting immediately guards in round 3.
- Its far from obvious where you will find a Safety or OLB prospect. The pickings seem slim top to bottom on these guys, and you may need to reach for one.

It is fun, although probably way off from reality. It fills a time slot for me sometimes.

You will rarely find Rowe available at R2P20, but it happens about 10 percent of the time. What is your reasoning behind the two centers?

Too bad that this is unrealistic, but it would be great if we get this haul.

Shaq Mason can play guard or center as can Max Garcia.
Garcia played all 3 O-line positions, Center, Guard and Tackle...and Mason absolutely can play Guard.

I agree that the CBS sports one seems the most realistic.
