i seriously think hamhuis did not sign here because he wants to be a free agent. he had some pretty weak excuses for not signing here and now i am fine with him leaving. we got a 3rd and a 7th for parent.

hamhuis is going to be overpaid and i am glad homer did not give in to a horrible contract.

Had a blast one day one at the draft. Before check in got to walk around anywhere I wanted. Went on the floor for a few minutes (we were lost). Got assigned to play carom hockey with kids and give them Upper Deck trading cards. The kids were all very nice and so were most of the adults. Got in before they opened the doors and got right up to the Cup. I did not try to touch it. Doing it again tomorrow and it should be less crowded.
