pretty sure they are doing the flyover for the game saturday. flew right over the stadium at skyscraper level.

they always do practice flyovers during the week when they are gonna have one for the game...one time i was walking to work and was at about the 50 yard line on the field when 2 F-16s did their practice. i hit the ground and just about shit my pants.

At the golf course in the UK at RAF Lakenheath, an US F16 base, they take off and do maneuvers all day, if you can golf through that not much else will disrupt your game, it's pretty bad ass to watch, they always fly in pairs so if you hear or see one, just wait for the second to be right along

You can commission through a University as well, very few people get selected to go to the Academy

yeah i know. the year i graduated 2 kids from my class got appointments or whatever its called when you get picked. it was the first time in the history of my HS that it had happened. also, they were identical twins so i'm pretty sure they just couldn't tell them apart and said "fuck it"

My oldest boy wanted to attend the AFA. he couldn't get the fucking AF recruiter to talk to him for nothing. He decided to enlist in the army instead. Later that year my wife's brother visited from England. He was a Master sergeant in the AF at the time. When he found out my boy was going into the army he went to the AF recruiters office and gave him a dressing down in front of the entire recruiting center. It was hilarious.
