The Fins have a big divisional game this week. It's an opportunity to add to the first place lead. It would give the Fins a two game lead on their division rivals.

The key to this game, more than anything else, is protecting Tua. The Bills terrorized the QB last week and the Fins have to avoid that. The Fins Oline has had 3 great games. They looked even better with Armstrong in the lineup. The Fins are running the ball well and that also takes pressure off of Tua and with pass protecting.

The Fins are progressively getting better on defense. Last week they held the Broncos offense to 13 points. ( 7 was on a special teams play) Another good performance is what is needed to get another W.

The Fins are healthy and should be running on all cylinders. This should be another statement game as the Fins win their 4th straight.

Should be the most interesting game in the AFC by a good margin this week. Dolphins need a Buffalo pelt before most take them seriously to win the East, and by extension, be a threat for the 1 seed.

Agreed, the Bills are favored to win this game. Like the saying goes, if you want to be the best you have to beat the best. The Bills have been the best in the AFC East.

This game will come down to which Josh Allen shows up... If it's the crappy one Dolphins win

He's talented. Like any QB though, pressure could take him off his game. Hopefully, he tries to force the ball down field. The Fins have playmakers in the secondary.

Dolphins O is good enough that it's not just about which Allen shows up, imo. This doesn't need AGS levels of variance like the Jets needed for Miami to win.

That is true. They can score at will, (clearly saw this week) and as long as Hill is on the field watch out

What's the word on Waddle?

All signs are that Waddle is playing. It's a different dynamic when he is on the field.
RB Achane has been too good to not get minutes. He is fast too.

Correct, but he's been progressing through the protocol.

I don’t like the Bills in this matchup at all. They can’t run the football. The best way to handle Miami’s offense is to keep them off the field. Buffalo doesn’t have the run game or the OL to pull that off. I think this is a 38-31 Dolphins win.

Seems like Phins is a very difficult team to stop with all those fast weapons on offense. Pats held Tua to 1 TD with 1 INT, but then Mostert gashed them with 120+ yards and 2 TDs.

Allen for the Bills seems a bit more under control, but he gets rattled easily. Buffalo is running out of opportunities for a SB run, they have a very good team, but now along comes Miami to say wait a second. Should be game of the week, for sure. If Bills win, AFCE will get even better and fun to watch.

Also, weather is predicted to be sunny and warm in Buffalo this weekend, so that should not be a factor.

I am glad that the weather won't be a factor. That said, the Fins can run the ball too. They will need to as the season progresses.
The Fins are a fun team to watch. Coach McDaniel has been game planning well. He and the other coaches will have the Fins ready to play.

As long as I've been a fan I've wished 10 or so points from a blowout could be deleted off the final score and kept as like a credit on a team's account.
Find yourself in a close game in a critical matchup? Cash those points in for the lead.

But in the current NFL ruleset, what happened last Sunday doesn't have any bearing on the outcome this coming Sunday.

If the Chargers can give Miami all they could handle, I think Buffalo can too.

Ha! I often use this logic during a baseball series. Your team lights up the opposition in the first game of a series like 12-3 and then the next night your team is struggling to plate anybody. I often joke that I’d like to borrow from the excessive runs I banked the night before.

The Fins have improved a lot defensively since the first game vs the Chargers. Fangio is a very good DC. They are stopping the run much better now. Also, they are getting more pressure on the QB.
The Fins offense will give the Bills all they can handle. Very possibly more than they can handle.

My thing is this....................

You can't stop Miami's Speed. That's it.....

You stop the speed, there fucked.

I don't expect Buffalo to be any different.

49-31 Miami

I think it will be close and I just have a gut feeling the Bills pull it off at home. Definitely thinking well over 60 points scored in this one. 34-30 Bills. Bills not likely to have 2 dozen or so missed tackles, imo.

I get you are excited (and you should be) but a single game "game thread" on a Tuesday on the General Board? Seems more a team board thingy. But WTF it is a huge game (if you can call a week 4 game huge) and now you got me pumped for it!!!! :pound:
Jets and Giants both night games so I'll get it in NY. Big "regular tv" football Sunday for me. Bills vs Miami and an NFCE matchup (Eagles vs Wash) early and then seeing if the Cowboys are that pathetic team that took the field week 3 or the great team that took the field weeks 1 & 2 - smart money says somewhere in between of course.
