PQS of 2.

Mediocre at best. And trending in the wrong direction.

Let me guess, the lack of strikeouts and early pull from the game factors strongly in that score. Never mind that he had thrown 79 pitches and was lifted only because Bochy hoped to spark the offense, gambling that the bullpen would not look like they did the past week (they did, at least Watson did). I think this is where the PQS really fails to be accurate. He only put on three base runners in 5 innings. Two of them were singles and the other was via a walk. All three were in different innings. I think that PQS is way off.

I know, obviously giving up 2 runs in 9 innings is mediocre AT BEST. The zero runs for the starter, who was removed from the game before he could get a QS, that's unacceptable. Just another shitty pitching day.

In the modern game starters are.going to pitch less and less, ask the Rays. You are a relic, and have inaccurate ideas about the game. That was a good start, and a well pitched game to everyone but you. Yep, everyone
