What's wrong with being a fan of both the Angels and Dodgers? They're both the hometown team, and they're not directly competing for anything, unless the meet in the World Series.

I'm a Yankees fan, but I fully support the Mets and hope they do well. I can't imagine why anyone would care, unless you've bought into the whole manufactured "rivalry".

This wasn't what I was hearing the beginning of the season. Infact, your comments about both L.A. teams appeared antagonistic. I was under the impression there is some animosity toward L.A. This is something I'm used to coming out of the Bay area but not San Diego.

The way the Dodgers have played the last few months has changed quit a few people's opinion about them.

I was born at UCLA and love the Lakers and was at a Dodger's game when I was only a few weeks old.

All my animosity is 100% directed at the Angels. I've hated them with a passion since the Darren Erstad, Tim Salmon, Troy Glaus steroids trifecta won a world series with dickheads like Scott Spiezio and K-Rod on the team.

I've never hated the Dodgers and pull for them when the Padres are out of it. Yes, I had very negative comments about the Dodgers over Carlos Quentin being vilified for doing what any other man would do in defending himself against the violent coward Greinke, as well as how the Dodgers acted in the D'backs donnybrook. I thought the suspensions were ludicrously in favor of the Dodgers. Kershaw should have gotten 10 games.

I especially like the "looks like the Dodgers may be going to the WS." There's 35 games to go but superfan is handing them a free pass to the World Series.

This guy is literally the only person I know in Southern California that loves both the Angels and Dodgers. Oh wait, he's from the Valley. That explains it.

Exactly. On a hotstreak and already putting em in the WS

That's your opinion and only your's - but fan might be too strong of a word for me. I really don't follow the angels, I know nothing about their players except that the organization spent more money then the Dodgers and was a complete bust and like them only because of Sciosa. I suppose I am more of a Sciosa fan then the Angels themselves

I have no problem with fans having two teams. Nothing written down anywhere that is wrong. It's merely your irrelevent perception that is the way it should be.

LOL - I really have been afraid to use the word world series and the Dodgers this soon. Really too soon for a team with their recent and long history, but it's looking better by the day

Look on the bright side, those that did not get caught will eventually. They are like thieves that can't resist the urge to still your microwave after they successfully stole your wife

I never said that's the way it should be. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, especially on something as subjective on who to be a fan of.

It's just ridiculous to suggest someone has no credibility because they're fans of two teams in the same city. Now, if someone is a Red Sox AND Yankee fan or Cardinals AND Cubs fan... that makes little sense because they're direct rivals. Or if a person is a fan of winning teams from a variety of different cities (i.e. clearly a frontrunner). But teams from different leagues who do not directly compete for anything but headlines? I don't see why that's a credibility issue.

There has never been anything to suggest that Erstad, Salmon or Glaus ever used PEDS. I can except the fact that you simply didn't like this 2002 team but to accuse them of using PEDS is simply wrong.

Greinke was not at fault in this altercation, he has never been a head hunter. The fault of this brawl happens to lay at the feet of Ian Kennedy. Whether it was purposeful on his part or just to stupid to try and pitch inside is still unclear but the overall consensus is that Kennedy was the blame.

I'm not trying to dog you but I'm simply trying to find out what your issue is with the L.A. baseball teams.

That's what some one said to me though - lol. They told me I had no credibility of anykind for being a fan of two teams. Perhaps I misunderstood you then, because it sounds like we agree. Either way I am a Dodgers fan first, but because Sciosa's association with the Angels, I have them on my list with less love, but no hate. It was really a retarded thing to say, but what can I say

In the meantime my Dodgers beat the Boston Red Sox tonight - Now that I like:yahoo:

Yes, I'm a fan of both teams. Grewup as a Dodgers fan and when the Angels arrived in '61 I became an Angels fan. There''s no conflict as they are in different leagues. I have no idea with whom you've been talking to in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas but there are many people that are both Dodgers and Angels fans. I have the option of pulling for a team in each league.

Your a basketball fan! Pro basket ball isn't basket ball it's " circus ball " the only true form of basket ball anymore is played in college. There's so much uncalled traveling, palming the ball, and uncalled fouls in pro ball the game is an absolute joke. You may as well watch WWE Wrestling as they are both bullshit. I guees that's why you watch it, you seem to be full of shit.

Now we have a Laker hater wow! so now because you see that i'm a Laker fan its fake & pro basketball sucks because you say it does LOL!! wow this is the stupidest comment i ever heard. I don know if you notice but LA is a Laker town but you wouldn't know anything anything about it typical you live in San Fernando LMAO!! & I was borned & raised in LA & been a Laker fan all my life thats why i watch the NBA moron fuck of with that shit!! bringing up WWE LOL!!! you must know how it sucks because you watch it...Congrats you bring up the NBA & WWE to counter attack what i told you about you being a fake fan..Dodgers Fan & Angel fan....wow your so smart i will just keep laughing at you dumb ass LMAO!!!

I will say your reading comprehension sucks. I never mentioned a thing about the Lakers. I stated pro basketball is a joke. It's not basketball it's circusball. The officiating calls no traveling, carrying the ball over, lane violations and only a 1/3 of the fouls commited. They call what they play basketball but what it happens to be is a showcase for the biggest showoffs and egoes in sports. Basketball played at the collegiate level is the only true form of basketball played.

If you watch pro basketball and think your actually watching basketball you're the idiot.

As a lifelong Padre fan--even back in their Pacific Coast League days--I have a deep hatred and loathing for the Dodgers. Unfortunately my wife is a life long Dodger fan and she is shoving their success in face on a daily basis. I'd love to see the Osama Bin Laden All Stars beat the Dodgers, but in all honesty, they are looking awfully good right now.

Dodgers have great starting pitching, one thing that goes a long ways towards getting to the WS, Braves have none.

Oh yeah... the Dodgers have Vin Scully too, like listening to sound of waves crashing on the beach during a Sunday afternoon lie down on the ol' couch. 60+ years and still rolling strong, unreal.

I am a dodgers fan and can still see that ATL has starting pitching...guess that offense just dominated their way to the best record in baseball..

I think you have to show some respect for Pittsburg, Atlanta, and the Cardinals. The Dodgers will have to face two of them to get to the world series and nothing is guaranteed. I remember the year the Dodgers faced the Oakland A's who went on to say they were disappointed to have to face the Dodgers. They said they had hoped to face a better team then the Dodgers who then at the hands of Orel Hershisher kicked their sorry asses into the gutter and they never recovered from that loss
