Great win against clearly the best team in baseball.

Graveman should be closing games right now. Montero is just too wild.

What a catch by Evan White

Dude is an absolute stud with the glove

Reminds me of Jon Olerud without the offensive production... Hopefully that will come...

Agreed... I'm always nervous when Montero is in there... Graveman should be closing out games...

Graveman is the better reliever and he came in for the 7th with the game on the line against Turner and Smith so I think that was 100% the right call. Regardless I'd prefer someone else getting leverage opportunities over Montero right now, like Middleton or Vest. However looks like Servais is finally managing a bullpen like he should, going more situational rather then "inning roles" and "defined closer" so I honestly can't complain if this is the direction its going. He's finally adapting a bit.

This is a must see. Hot damn!
its a bummer France got hurt and hopefully its just a couple of days but the silver lining is if he is still at 3rd, no way he makes that play and the Mariners likely dont win

While I am far from drinking the Kool-Aid ..... I gotta admit it was a solid win against undoubtedly the best team in all of MLB.

Defense was A+

I noticed their starting pitcher was far less reluctant to tube shot that 98MPH fastball he was so proud of over the heart of the plate in an attempt to get ahead early in the count. After he got tagged a few times he went to the slider / slurve knowing alot of the Ms hitters were sitting dead red fastball at the plate.

As stated above; Our reliever with the dyed hair needs to concede to another arm who can throw strikes in the 9th when we have a 1 run lead. Even the best hitters fail 70% of the time, but you gotta make them swing that bat.

it was a great win ... hang a W on them in todays day game and that validates last nights win even more. Ms are barely a .500 club come this fall.
But a productive season scrapping out some wins against certain teams can lite a spark and make a bunch of kids believe in themselves going into the offseason. Beating up on the Astros at home was a big step - sweep the Dodgers at home and people will take note and the clubhouse is a happy place :thumb:

Hellofagame last night. It's actually fun again watching this team with the new young talent. Been a while since I looked forward to watching these guys.

Tough Loss... Marco pitched a gem... But so did, Urias to the extent of 11K's and 0 ER's... Reminded me of the days when Felix would pitch lights out but we'd still lose...

Marco was fantastic! Urias was better. Nothing to hang your head about a 1-0 loss from today’s game. If anything, this just reminds me of the old 1-0 Felix days.

The M's have had a nice start to the season and getting the split with the Dodgers is great, but two 1-0 losses this early into the season is pretty concerning to me. Can't be wasting those pitching performances.

I looked at it two ways; 1- Those are the kind of losses that don't bum me because they are one swing from tying it. 2- Your point. The defense and pitching was outstanding in those games and losing them is a waste.

Not sure which way to go yet but have noticed over the last few years that we have a very hard time with a pitcher with a great curve ball.

The 1-0 losses aren’t bad IMO because they faced studs and held in check one of the better offenses. Wasting the performances is an issue but losing 1-0 vs 11-0 is a moral victory (sucks saying that) but it is.

1-0 losses are super annoying. Almost was rooting for the Dodgers to score more the last couple of innings. I dont love to make excuses but both Grienke and Urias were very good from what I saw. Regardless still a fine homestand.
