Offense should be better tonight since Don won't have an excuse to bench our hottest hitter with a righty on the mound. Throwing Van Slyke into the biggest game of the season without facing a live pitch in a week was beyond stupid. But Mattingly is also beyond stupid.

Could not agree more about SVS. Although we have a guy around here who said it was a good call because SVS mashes lefties. But now he won't show his face after SVS struck out three times on 9 pitches - something I've never seen. Meanwhile Crawford saw no action - great for his timing, lol
