I have to believe that with Ryu, Greinke, and Kershaw throwing this series, that winning 1 of 3 is unacceptable. That's not going to get it done next month, so it's not going to get it done this month; especially against a WC team (as of the moment).

Those three have a combined record of 46-17 with a combined ERA of 2.49. They are going to pitch 6 of 7 in a playoff series. If they can't win 2 of 3 in SF, we have some problems.

I understand that it also depends on run support and bullpen, both of which have been suspect this year. And I will acknowledge that their pitching is pretty solid.

But those are our best pitchers, and we need 2 of 3, period.

Hahaha, cheers to that. I completely agree. I definitely hate the Giants, but this is what baseball is al about; a great rivalry having real implications for both teams at the end of the season. Bad luck to you as well (although definitely hoping for no injuries). Go blue!!!!

Yup, that would be a good call. I just hate two massive strikeout guys in Kemp and Uribe back to back. Can be such a rally killer.

Ha... Good stuff. Ultimately, your organization is light years more evolved than ours. Two WS in the last three seasons? It's pathetic how we bang the 1988 drum in Dodger land. It's been a long, long time since a Dodger team has done anything meaningful. This weekend series could be a step in that direction. Otherwise, the Dodgers continue to be a rudderless ship at sea.

Giants as an organization are the heavy favorite down the stretch, the DNA of your team is World Series caliber. We will find out if the Dodgers have that level in the. After 25 years, it's hard to hold ones breath.
