I think he'll go wherever the most money is. He's too young to worry about playing for a ring. He needs to get paid.
I can see him signing with the Browns, Hoyer looked legit
This. Money talks.
He's not going to wait two more seasons to take a top 5 receiver contract. The Bengals are the only team that can offer that to him next season. Yes, he'll be here and he'll be fine.
They'll pay him. There would be an uprising amongst the fans if they don't.
It depends if you can sell him on the idea that you're actually managing the organization well. The history of the organization makes that a somewhat difficult bet for him to make.
The Bengals and big contract... in the same sentence. No, they will say "we learned from the chad johnson debacle not to trust wide receivers"
Green would have had 5 TDs at least the last 3 game if Dalton could throw a decent deep ball.
No exaggeration at all. Dalton missed him twice yesterday.
Except Chad Johnson's contract didn't exceed 40 million, whereas Green will probably get 80+ million.
Not really sure he is worth 80+ million with getting owned by Ike Taylor, Tramon Williams and Joe Haden.
Granted, Dalton couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if his wife's life depended on it, but Green has not gotten open hardly at all in those three games. Besides a couple plays here and there, Green has been owned.
Plus, up until yestderday, Atkins had disappeared from our defense.
Not really sure big contracts are worth keeping on the team and getting FUBAR'd over.
