I remember the 71' Nebraska/Oklahoma game like it was yesterday. I remember every person in the room, the atmosphere, the console TV, furniture, everything to detail.

HAHA. You shit and fall back in it too.

I was watching Nebraska football when I was 6 months old....just don't remember it. I have lots of memories from when I was 3. That is just when I remember starting to really like Nebraska.

My family is so crazy about Nebraska football......I was sat in front of the tv as a baby during Husker games and had a small Nebraska jersey I wore. We had probably 10-15 people over the house every single weekend for games.

Hell our basement looks like Herby came down stairs and shit Huskerness all over. Dad has painted a lifesized Herby Husker right on the wall, as well as a huge N logo with the "Huskers" written through the middle. We also have a 8x10 foot mural of the stadium on game day on another wall in the basement.

can't wait til i get to set up my basement, should be a fun time

...............

My big screen took a shit over the offseason........... haha I shut it off after the superbowl and went to turn it on last week and no go.........

So I'm in the market for a new tv........ A 73" mitubishi is 1200- Same TV but bigger 82" is 3200................. Doesn't make sense.......

I'll be getting the 73" next week to go inbetween my two 36" and two 27"......

I got a pretty good setup... It's worth Every penny being able to have 5 games on at once....

It should look pretty good getting that 51" out of there and replacing it with a 73".......

Really want the 82...... But I can't justify to myself spending 2000 on 9 inches.....

Nothin like a Husker basement.......really there's nothin like throwin a Husker party on gameday in the basement. Our basement used to be nicer than our living room upstairs......now we have all new furniture upstairs and a new flatscreen and all that jazz.

My basement is much nicer than the upstairs...........

But mostly that is because of the design of the house, I'm single- so if I had the room upstairs for the Husker cave- that is where it would be- ofcourse it really wouldn't be a cave then would it...

My living room upstairs has a 47" flatscreen a corner couch and a recliner and it is jam packed..... in fact the couch blocks the fireplace, because the only other way to arrange it the sun comes right through the front door and shines on the tv- I need to get the flatscreen up above the fireplace- I just have been draggin my feet on having a electrcian come out again to run another cable line...

The living room was actually designed to be a sitting room- in fact there wasn't even a cable jack in the room until I moved in..... The living room is 20x20..... The basement "rec area" is 30x60.....
