I would argue that you very well could, depends on who your other options are. I'm benching Dez in my 8 man money league. . But my other options are Julio, D. Thomas, and Oliver at flex playing the Raiders.

This is a really good question. I always try to start my best lineup (which is sometimes questionable in itself) and hope that my guy has a good game, but my Vikes win.

Sigh...this year it really doesn't matter much as far as the Vikes go.

When you're in multiple leagues, it becomes increasingly difficult to root for individual players anyway. It often turns into something like:

"Yes, Calvin Johnson scored a touchdown! Oh crap, I'm playing against Stafford in my other league though."

For that reason, I try not to join too many leagues. And I don't actively root for players much either. I just want my 49ers to win and then I see which leagues I won or lost and go from there.
