Do you get mad when experts pick your team to lose games they are favored in?

Honestly, I could care less who the experts predict will win anytime. Basically, they are no different than all the regular joes who predict stuff on message boards like this one. It's just that they get paid for it. Why get mad at any of it. There's an old saying, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and most are full of shit. Including mine btw.

I'm usually happy whenever an expert even mentions the Rams. At some point about 3 years ago, ESPN and NFL Network pretty much stopped covering about 5 teams

I never pay attention to media picks because overall for the season i always pick the games at a more accurate rate than they do.

I will pay attention to what the bettors are doing, however.

Nope, doesn't really effect my feelings of the game at all.

It's what they're paid to do.

Its kinda nice when no one picks you to win. Because if you win, then you get a sort of gratification of "throwing it in their faces". And if you lose, then you can rationalize the fact that no one expected that to be a win anyways.

What sucks is when everyone picks you and then you end up losing

There are really no 'experts' ,just people who try to take an educational or homer guess on who will win a game. My picks (and many on this site) have been better than the 'experts'. That being said....if your team is being touted as the best by the 'experts'....be worried!

This right here would be when I get a little frustrated. You can tell there are just plenty of guys on tv that have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to certain teams. I know it is hard to watch all 32 teams all year long but when you are paid big bucks to do it then at least do your job and don't look like an idiot. There are some on here that I would rather listen to as they at least seem intelligent on the different teams even beyond who they cheer for. I figure if guys who don't get paid can do it then the guys who are should be able to as well.

It is, at worst, a mild annoyance to me. And when they pick my team to win it's only a modest pleasure.
