Jacksonville has earned the right to pick behind us it looks like. Tennesee and Tampa might go QB In front of us which leaves Oakland. Hoping the Raiders can beat buffalo at home on sunday

Looks like Tenn tanked it for Mariota. They are currently in the #1 spot with one game left to play. And we didnt move at all and are still at 5th.

No we are now in the 4th spot. We draft ahead of any 3 win team and if TN or OAK win another game we'd draft ahead of them too. TB has to win both games for us to jump ahead of them. This all assumes we lose both our games.

For all of us hoping for a move up on the draft board, your last line becomes much more haunting for the team that just can't get right. I would not be surprised at all if the opportunity to move up in the draft depended on losing both of our final games........they won't!!

Yes. We have a very low strength of schedule percentage which would put us ahead of everyone with an equal record. We could potentially pass TB as our sos is very close to theirs.

Tennessee has the Colts left.
Tampa Bay has the Packers and Saints.
Oakland has the Bills and Broncos.

Unless something off the wall happens, I doubt we will move up from here.

I guess the assumption is that holding a pick in the top three would actually be good for this team?? With a team that has shown a habit of screwing up the obvious, handing them a top 3 draft pick might be the equal of handing a five year old a loaded gun.

We've had a top 4 pick a handful of times in recent years. We've drafted Heath Shuler, Michael Westbrook, Lavar Arrington and Chris Samuels, Trent Williams and RGIII. Add Sean Taylor if we go to the top 5.

Barely 50/50 hitting with those picks. Granted those were all different front offices but I'd much prefer to trade down and land an OL, add a few more players. We're hardly one pick away from being good.

And this is why KSD is right. Trade back and pick up addition high picks. We need a number of quality players, not just one elite player.
