So Cleveland's gonna lose to a QB who turns the ball over in Rudolph on short rest? They're going to lose to Miami? They're going to lose to the Bengals who they have yet to play either time? They could lose to the Cardinals, but this league runs on one thing: MOMENTUM. And if Cleveland gets it starting against Buffalo, then that whole environment is going to be different.
Tell me who is going to knock them out of the playoffs?
Chargers have five losses, and two games to go against KC, one against Minnesota, and a game in Jacksonville that could go either way. Jacksonville has gone 4-0 and 3-1 the last two years against AFC divisions. 2-2 means wins against Denver and either one against LAC or Oakland.
The Colts have three losses, and they're going to have a 4-2 or 6-0 division record (it is non-disputable), meaning if they lose to Houston they are losing to Jacksonville too. That will be five losses. They also play the Saints and Panthers. On paper they can beat Carolina, but they're not stopping CMac. That could be 7 losses.
Now here's where it gets interesting
If the Chargers, Colts, and Browns all tie at 9-7. Guess who has the best conference record? Cleveland who will go 1-3 against the NFC if they make it to 9-7. The Colts only have one win so far, but I expect them to split TB/NO because the games are back to back. They also don't even play the Browns so no head to head involved. The Chargers beat the Colts head to head, but they don't play the Browns either. They already have two wins against the NFC. Browns have the tie-breaker at 9-7.
Only Colts winning the division knocks Cleveland out. And if that's the case they better win the next five weeks and week 17.'
Cleveland should beat the Steelers (twice), Dolphins, Bengals (twice), and Cardinals. It comes down to this week and week 16 to at least get a ninth win.
Lol momemtum? Ok. Tell me about their current momentum, einstein
