Wasn't a big fan of that holding call. They had the opportunity to waive it since the ball was deflected. Let them play. He had a hold of the jersey, but hardly impeded his progress.

agreed, it was a deflected pass, and the contact was within 5 yds of the line of scrimmage.. really tough call at that pt in the game

Some people will tell you "rules are rules" written in black and white, like they did with the Redskins/Cowboys game.

Rules are rules and it was holding. You can't waive off holding for a deflected pass, that is only PI. It was holding, correct call. Even the announcer said, you call it if you see it. It was holding, it should have been called and it was correctly called.
