Yeah, this is one where you have to consider the source. Russell has had an ax to grind with the skins for a long while. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not true. Just could use some verification.

My biggest problem with this report is that is it really news? I think it’s a foregone conclusion that no one reputable with choices would want to work for this organization given the level of ineptitude and dysfunction.

Although I feel bad for the employees there may be a silver lining in this even if everything is true. As I alluded to before - it appears that Allen has more of an Admin/PR type role at this time & is involved much less in personnel decisions with every passing day (leaving those decisions to true football folks).

Sure non-football folks may not want to work at Ashburn, but there still appear to be quite a few players that don't mind playing for the Skins. I also believe that they won't have a problem finding a coach or asst coaches if any of the current ones are fired or leave (again there are a very limited amt of NFL teams). It will be interesting to see Allen's role over the next few years (I know - it would be better if he had no time left with this team).

I know people that do work for the Redskins, I am as much of an insider here as Russell. Like any company some love it, some don't. I can tell you stories about Snyder and his pettiness going way back before he owned the Redskins. My point is, sure there was some truth in what Russell said …. I think most of us knew that without an insider. It should be noted that Russell apologized the next night on the radio.

Good info & great pt about the attitudes of workers at any company. None of this should surprise anyone & again the attitude in the office bldg. is not necessarily the same one for the players & coaches (which admittedly has been strained in the past but doesn't really seem that awful at this time - at least for now).
