Drive 1- We get to the Dallas 19. Thompson -3, Ty holding, and we miss a 43 yard FG.

Drive 2- 1st and goal from Dallas 5. Wildcat, incomplete, incomplete...24 yard FG.

Drive 3- To the Dallas 38...missed FG

Drive 4- 1st and goal from the 10...3rd and goal from the 2 after not knowing WTF to do after getting it here, forcing us to take a TO, and off of that TO we forget to block a DL and KC is forced to throw it early...20 yard FG.

Those are our drives in the first half. Every drive go to FG range, 2 drives were inside the 5, and we walked away with 6 points. We should have walked away with a minimum of 17 points. There is your difference...there is your ball game.

I agree but I don't attempt that 55yard FG.

If any of their safeties did anything or if their ILBs are not blown out almost every play they also win that game. Pretty cute not blaming the defense for any of this. Also- the offensive problems can be fixed. The defensive problems? That will take a while. First step should be cutting Whittner ASAP

We are an offensive team. Our defense has been better than any of us expected, not good, but better.

Like I said, like I showed, the problem was the offense in the first half because they should have been better. You can't get inside field goal range 4 times, 2 of those times inside the ten, and walk away with 6 points total. You can't.

I hear ya, homey. Attempting a 55 yard FG in a domed stadium in freakin ideal kicking conditions. WTF was Gruden thinking? That he had a grown man on a professional football team who makes his living in large part as a FG kicker. How crazy is that madness?

Why not? I thought you trusted your defense? Give them a chance to make a big play? They've won 4 games this year and all that crap.

Hopkins has the leg and the accuracy to make that kick and will make it more times than not. Once again dean, you don't understand probabilities and taking the best option. We needed points. That doesn't mean that it works out, the players on the field still have to execute. Gruden knew our defense was going to get gashed no matter where Dallas started their drive. Probability wise, that was a good decision.

2 years ago we were lost. We sunk a ton into a QB who was killing the team both on the field, in the locker room and on the trainer's table. We were one of the worst teams in the league who appeared to be starting over. Again. Now just 27 games later we have one of the better offenses in the league with no real weak spots. What's more it looks like for the first time in decades we appear to have the answer at QB, the most difficult position in all of sports to fill.

Relax guys, we are ahead of schedule. SM has proven he can find defensive talent, give him time.

I would of played field position. Once again giving Dallas a short field.

I am not an "act like you've been there before" guy. Big plays in the NFL are hard to make, I'm fine with a player celebrating, dancing, talking etc after making a play.

With that said I am so sick of Josh Norman's antics. I watch games to see our players actually make plays, instead every telecast dedicates 5 minutes to Josh Norman and his clown show. The guy has 11 passes defended, one pick and one forced fumble for the entire year. He leads the league in penalties. The refs warn him about the bow and arrow, he does it anyway. The refs make it clear they will be calling hands to the face, he does it anyway and gets 4 more flags, killing the team in the process. Then he blames the refs. Seriously could you be more of a punk? AJ and OBJ made him their bitch, he didn't do anything but get beat when matched up with Dez. Had Dak seen him Bryant had him for a huge TD. Yet Norman continued to act like an ass.

Seriously STFU and starting matching your talk with your play Josh.

Having the 31st ranked redzone defense doesn't help either. Cowboys 4/4 in the redzone, Skins 2/5.

I will say this, when said grown man kicker got into his kicking stance and realized he couldnt even see the goal post... That kicker should have had the band width to call a time out and tell the coach... this is a low probability based on the fact that I cant see what i should be kicking.

Watching the game, I never felt that the Redskins D could stop the Cowboys in the second half. Not even for a moment.

Even when the 'skins were doing good things on offense... it didn't feel like the game was in doubt.

Especially against Dallas. I think they're beatable but you can't put yourself behind like that for the second half against them.

Eh I disagree. He's done fine against just about everybody. AJ and OBJ are monsters you're not going to shut them out completely. The only CB I've ever watched with even a shot at that is prime Revis. Norman isn't that good and we shouldn't expect him to be. He's still really good. His constant talking is a little annoying when we're losing but I think it's all part of his game.

As for the act like they've been there before people who say that need to chill lol. People say that about players who HAVE been there before so they by definition are acting like they've been there before. Getting excited is a good thing I wouldn't just hand the ball to the ref either.

I felt the same way. That's why I had zero issues with the onside kick.

Or the first half tbh. Really needed a TO (nacho had a shot) to have any chance with how our D was playing. Bend don't break, broke.

The thing about Norman is he isn't the most talented CB, but he does get in his opponents head. That's part of his game. He is on them physically and mentally until many of them break. OBJ beat him numerous times, but once he broke him, he was done. The downside of that style is it tends to draw attention to you from the refs, resulting in many more penalties, some of which are tic tac calls. But the refs know that if they don't get involved, things are about to turn ugly.
