Yeah, I agree. Diek has had only a handful of games where he's given up more than one run in what were mostly one-inning stints and he wasn't sharp today but there was also a critical error at third in the 7th that should have been a double play. I think the Phillies have a first class bullpen and I hope they keep it that way. Bad games can stand out for any pitcher particularly when a poor, erratic offense deserves much of the blame. Like friggen Howard striking out 4 times today and going 0 for 2 w/risp. Howard should give up half his salary so Amaro can buy some more prospects.

It doesn't take much to bring up a reliever's ERA.

The three pitchers we should be trying to rid ourselves of is Burnett, Kendricks, and Retardo. Not necessarily in any order of improtance. Diekman is a pretty good pitcher and he is a keeper in my book.
