The Big East IS better with Boise no doubt. You won't get arguments from anyone. They still are way behind the other BCS conferences. Now if the team from my old stamping grounds (Syracuse), Connecticut and Rutgers can become 8-9 win teams and have a decent win or 2 out of conference every year, they will be very close to the ACC. South Florida returning to what they were a couple of years ago will go a long way as well. Thats a bunch of hopes in play. I personally would like to see a strong Big East. There is always a chance that the Big East could be detrimental to Boise , SDSU, Houston and SMU due to the travel schedule. Brutal.

I'll put Boise's starters against any team. LSU and Alabama included (I think we're all in agreement that they are at least 2 of the best 3-4 teams in CFB so we don't have to squabble over details). It's in their 2nd and 3rd teams that many BCS conference schools will get to them over time.

Utah was pretty good but they entered the Pac-12 on a very low note

they were basically utterly ruined by TCU, literally before that game they were very good but after TCU destroyed them Utah went into a run of constantly turning over the ball, and constant drive killing penalties, it went into this year too, until mid year when they started to solve some of it but then it all came back again against Colorado.

that game caused Utah to go into a run of turning the ball over and having drive killing penalties

the worst of which followed the TCU game against Notre Dame where they basically lost the game by turning the ball over and ruining each drive with some penalty.

the same thing happened against Boise State, where we played our worst game of the year and still won 20-3.

they probably would have been 5th in the MWC this year behind Boise State, TCU, Wyoming, and San Diego State or Air Force.

travel won't be that bad because the 4 of us will be in the same division.

Cincinnati and Louisville would probably be long trips if those two are in our division but that's not going to hurt us too bad

I'm hoping they play Cincinnati and Louisville every other year so that I can go to those away games

i guess i've just never ran across a SDSU fan that didn't act like a total douchebag....that combined with a VERY long weekend driving to and from ABQ just to watch my beloved pokes decide to not show up at all has got me a bit cranky
