Boise would go the way of Utah, at least for the first 2-3 years, if they had to compete in the Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 or ACC. It's too depressing to Bronco fans to mention what would happen if they ever had to compete in the SEC.
At least this makes the Big East legitimate. LMMotherFockingAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well yes it does
instead of having no good teams they now have one
and at least the other teams are in good markets
You mean like what we did to UGA?
Lotta big talk about how we would crumble but none of the big boy conferences will nut up and let us in. Til then it's all talk.
Well except for when we beat you on the field...............
Utah was falling apart when they were still in the MWC
Utah was falling apart when they were still in the MWC
Utah was also known for big wins over the big boys and 10 win seasons and you see what happened when they had to play a big time schedule week in and week out.
I'll put Boise's starters against any team. LSU and Alabama included (I think we're all in agreement that they are at least 2 of the best 3-4 teams in CFB so we don't have to squabble over details). It's in their 2nd and 3rd teams that many BCS conference schools will get to them over time.
I wish the Broncos could play an SEC or Big 12 schedule. We could end disagreements like this. Then again, wouldn't that make this message board a little less interesting.![]()
Why? Because TCU, who beat Wisconsin last year, became the dominant team in the MWC? They only lost to TCU in conference last year.![]()
The Big East IS better with Boise no doubt. You won't get arguments from anyone. They still are way behind the other BCS conferences. Now if the team from my old stamping grounds (Syracuse), Connecticut and Rutgers can become 8-9 win teams and have a decent win or 2 out of conference every year, they will be very close to the ACC. South Florida returning to what they were a couple of years ago will go a long way as well. Thats a bunch of hopes in play. I personally would like to see a strong Big East. There is always a chance that the Big East could be detrimental to Boise , SDSU, Houston and SMU due to the travel schedule. Brutal.
Says the poke fan?
Pretty funny man
UNLV, CSU and NM have a better hold on that.
SDSU has a big tv market............it's all about the money
this is exactly what i'm pointing out, however, if those tv don't ever turn on to the sdsu games it doesn't matter much, does it?
aztec football will remain the joke it has been forever
got to tell you, sir
San Diego State is a rising program now, especially with everyone in the state sucking besides USC, and USC has limited scholarships.
not to matter yourn Cowboys are rising too, too bad you didn't win the bowl game though![]()
