He's just as much of a WR as he is a RB. If it wasn't for Charles' injury, he would've seen more playing time at the slot.
I don't think Ginn is a good slot guy. He's more straight line fast than quick. McCluster would be an instant upgrade at the slot over Ginn, and can be just as good of a returner. He can also run the ball if we really need him to. Meanwhile Ginn is completely useless outside of returning punts.
generally agree, won't go so far as "useless" but i get the gist.
the main thing i want from returners is ball security, whether on the catch or jarring hit, do secure the ball. Ginn has been doing a good job in this area and MAY get him a spot one more year?
