Apparently Van didn't arrive until like 4am because of snow in Detroit. Schneider is expected to start. Not really like that's a downgrade though. Hopefully we come out on fire to start out a tough three game stretch the right way.

Orcas jumped on Devils but things settled down and our dirty Ds starting to heat up.

Elias had so many missed ops in the third... my god that shot wide under three minutes was just brutal.... He was all alone in front.... then his passing was off the mark most of the rest of the time... that really hurt us too in the final 5... oh well, cant win them all...

Same here..I figured the first rebound Schneider let up would be punched home..tough game to come away with 0 points cause the D totally shutdown their offense. 16 shots or something like that? Pretty impressive against Van thats for sure.

And didnt realize his contract is up soon..wow Id love to have him as Marty's replacement.

We didn't show up until 15 mins into the first and it cost us the game. Can't start out slow like that. I thought we controlled the game from about half way through the second on and had plenty of good chances Schneider just wasn't giving us the rebounds (sign of a good goalie). We could really use Larsson and Tallinder back.

On a side note, they have gained the reputation of being an asshole team that nobody likes and I wasn't sure what the whole problem was until last night. The Canucks before and after every whistle were just pulling busch league shit, hacking at Parise during the faceoffs, laying on top of him after plays, facewashing everybody in sight. They make PK Subban look like a saint.

Schnieder just killed us. Can't fault our Devils really... freaking guy didn't let air pass him through him. Fucking rock solid performance.

Clarkson had WAYYYY too many opportunities but damn Schnieder played above and beyond....

Since Renne is out of the picture, what's up Corey?
