Why is it after every team we beat, they say we didn't play our best football. No shit. That's what happens when you lose. You played bad because we didn't allow you to play your best.

Haha!! Exactly!!!

Damon Bruce:

Hearing Jim Harbaugh will secretly thumb-wrestle Schwartz at a location somewhere off Bayshore Ave. in about 45-50 min. #exclusive

Absolutely love Dilfer as an analyst. What he adds to the network is something you don't get from anybody else at ESPN or really from anyone else on TV.

You gotta figure on that last play, the Niners line up like that to bait the Lions into trying that pooch kick....make the Lions try something they haven't worked on. I trust Seely and figured its a decent idea....certainly worked....but was that Harbaugh giving some very skeptical faces to Seely after it all happened? Looked like he wasn't all that hyped on that trick.

that was a good move by Detroit, it isn't a gimmie KW covers it up clean? that kind of kick MIGHT'VE forced another player to cover it, say a Safety?

also, how did a Detroit player end up the second guy to the ball?

There is an ass that will be bit if we keep doing this shit and that ass is ours!

true, but think our expectations of the offense is simply too far? at least too far at this point of the season.

they're improved but not so much we can expect them to put away teams so easily. plus, Detroit's front seven isn't so bad. who's that DT not named Suh, Williams, or Fairly? he did well against Iupati, even threw Iupati down like a rag doll one play.

The gist of my point is allowing teams to "stay close". Regardless of what our offense is or isn't - when we have opportunities to build a decent lead (3+ scores) we can't allow mistakes to kill those opportunities.

Ann Killion said that Vince Vaughn was also on the 49ers sideline.

how do you put teams away 'regardless of what our offense is or isn't'?

not being argumentive, but am asking...

You mean "build a decent lead"? By taking advantage of the opportunities when you are either handed them or you create them.

The box score on BSPN only gave Aldon Credit for one sack. He got two! They better fix that crap.

It isn't ESPN, the NFL did that... because on his first sack RayMac tripped him up before Aldon Smith took him down. Like he got him and Stafford stumbled forward and then Smith wrapped him up, but somehow they decided to give that sack entirely to RayMac. If anything Aldon got robbed of half a sack
