Detroit Pistons/Washington Wizards

Opening night for them tonight and I am probably the only one on the board excited to see both teams.
Both have young talent and should be much improved. Many are predicting both to push for playoff contention.
Unfortunately, the Pistons have some key injuries to start the season. I still think they pull it out on the strength of their big men.














Anyone got a bag of used basketballs they will trade for Villanueva's expiring contract?

Last I saw he was only slated to miss the first four games. Not too long to wait. In the mean time Bynum throws up some of the nicest ally oops off the dribble and Siva can run the offense if he keeps the turnovers down.

Both these teams should be fun to watch.

You know, fans of the game appreciate watching talent even when it is not on their team. There are exciting players on teams other than the Lakers. There are even some players who are fun to watch that may not even be on playoff teams.

Who do they bump who was there before?
You got the Heat, Bulls, Nets, Knicks, Pacers pretty set.
People think the Hawks will either tread water or improve (I'm not one of them).
I think Boston and Milwaukee are both out for the Pistons and Wiz, but Cleveland and Toronto may challenge also.
