NEVER start a player going on Thursday night in your FLEX spot. Here is why-

My opponent this week has 3 stud RBs: AP, Foster and Leveon Bell. He left Bell in his FLEX spot on Thursday night.

While I still think AP will likely play despite his indictment, if he does not, my opponent will be forced to start Darren McFadden at RB2. Had he wisely moved Bell to RB, he would have the option to use Reggie Wayne at his FLEX spot.

You never know when a player's status might change, so you need to keep your options open. Obviously AP and Foster are no brainer starters under normal circumstances, but crazy, unexpected things happen sometimes.

Wow.

The irony here is that had this happened last year, I think it would have been highly unlikely for the Vikings to make this move unless AP asked them to. I have a feeling that the Ray Rice drama has played a part here.

I dunno - if anything the Ray Rice drama (today's Friday, right?) is in "oh crap we overreacted" mode.

But ol' AP's texts are gonna kill him.
