Geeez...what is it with this team and their constant stumbles coming right out of the gate in the 1st inning in what seems like every other game??

Are they not preparing properly?, not studying film pre game?, or is the scouting department inadequate??

Tigers score 2 in the 1st.

edit:
Mets go down in order in the bottom half.

It looks like the Tigers did their due diligence on scouting us.
They have Thor's number.

He just gave up 2 run homer.
4-0 Tigers in the 2nd.
Already over 50 pitches.

Sheeeesh.

Just when you think they might just start to right the ship....they begin taking on more water.

Wonder if he lands on the IL tomorrow?

Yikes.

I wonder how short the leash will be....

Mets LHP Jason Vargas (1-2, 5.92 ERA) is expected to come off the injured list on Saturday to make his first big league start since May 5, when he was removed with a strained left hamstring in Milwaukee. Vargas is 4-6 with a 6.38 ERA in 13 career starts against the Tigers.

Watch him come out and dominate.
