He caught three no-hitters all within 3 months- ironically all 3 were against my Phils

Slight error there. Burdette and Spahn each tossed a no hitter against the hapless Phils in august and september 1960. In April 1961, Spahn threw his second no-hitter but it was against the Giants. Each caught by Crandall.

I met him in person when he was a rookie. He signed his rookie card for me and a friend as well. Ryan Klesko.
