Started as a catcher then also played left field and DH
Never had any great single season, so only one All Star appearance and 3 times in top 20 for MVP (14 was the highest)
Finished with a very respectable career WAR over 50.
Had decent power (275 career HRs) and was great at getting on base (.370 lifetime OBP)
Often batted leadoff even though he had very little speed.
