The Jazz needed to make too many 3's to win this game. And they gave up too many 3's to Denver.

They were lucky that Booker had that wide open dunk on a drive from the 3-point line. That kind of thing won't happen to a better defensive team.

There's not much to take away other than that they struggled to beat an injured team, and needed a lot of 3's to do so.

If they were a better team defensively, maybe we wouldn't have gone for that dunk? I'm not saying that game planning goes down to every single play in a basketball game, but we probably would've gotten some other shot off. That other shot would likely have been 50% chance or less, though. Shrug, I don't usually consider plays to be lucky because it should have been defended better. I mean, I don't even consider Jordan to be lucky that he wasn't called for his push off because it was strategic to get him some space.
