I doubt Gus takes the time to interview for a.job he doesn't want, and all reports had him at the top of our list. In addition to Lynn getting passed over. My money is on Gus.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports if Redskins OC Sean McVay lands the Rams' head-coaching job, his top choice for defensive coordinator would be Wade Phillips.

That would be reason enough for the Rams to want to pull the trigger on McVay. On a serious note, Phillips obviously is one of the premier defensive minds in the league.

Mcvay is a very smart man when it comes to understanding how to build a def. I will be watching closely how this all plays out. Hope it's not Bradley.

Are you talking all time or just in the Snyder era? Joe Bugel & Dan Henning were assts for Gibbs & both became head coaches for several teams. Obviously Pettibone also was the head coach for one year w/ the Redskins. Marv Levy was also the ST coach for George Allen well before he coached the Bills to 4 SBs. I am sure that there are more that I am missing.

My bet is McVay interviews much better than Kyle. Would make the selection process much closer than most would think with McVays age at 30 being his biggest hindrance for some in either organization. McVays family ties would help tho.
