I'll believe it when I see it. No way a guy his size comes back from a ligament tear this season.

I doubt the kid plays this year. Even if he were a quick healer, you'd figure he wouldn't be ready until after Thanksgiving. By that time it would be a lot for a rookie to step in and be able to play.

Imagine if we had drafted him instead, and then we have him get hurt and Wharton so both guys we get in the offseason to replace our crap guards, both gone in preseason.

At least we still have Zeitler.

Things may have worked out the other way had he been on the Bengals and Zeitler on the Steelers, with Zeitler injured and DeCastro healthy. It's a freak injury.

Good possibility, you never know. Different teams, situations, players, calls and field, plus you still have the player themselves and how they react and think to certain things.

If it was the other way around, it could very possibly be both playersd are healthy or roles reversed.

I was just thinking in the sense, both our guards were complete garbage last year, and the guys we bring in to replace them get hurt for the season. THat would just be our luck typically.

Same reason we have not upgraded our safeties in like 20 years. Last really decent safety we have had that I can remember, and he was only above league average was Sam Shade, and then it seems to go all the way back to Fulcher and Darren Williams.

If anything I would say Pittsburgh for whatever reason just has a horrible record of keeping their o-line healthy. Kind of like we've been with CB's, but probably worse.
