Hall had a great game against Dallas last year...hopefully we will see the same this year. Dez Bryant definitely seems like the type, that if you smother/play him very well for a quarter or two you could get under his skin and frustrate him. I am totally expecting some personal fouls in a coupla weeks...and I am good with that.

I rememebr that game...He definetly held him in check...and I expect him to be all over Bryant again as well... Bryant had been playing well before that game, and many were expecting it to continue...UM NOPE

Hall has been a scoring threat for us this year, in a scheme that features way too much zone, and no safety help.
I think he's done ok, being asked to play on an island and come up and tackle too.
He'll be gone next year, and it would have been worse without him this year...

I know its been mentioned here before..but any chance DHall could stay and get moved to safety, if nothing else for depth in a very very mediocre secondary.

I agree he hasn't been a very consistent player. When he is off..he can look quite bad. But when he is on his game.. he is very good. I have my Hokie homer glasses on..but he could have had an exceptional hall of fame type career. I think he had that kind of potential coming out of college. Woodson type ability.

That's some funny ish! For all that Hall drives us crazy, he's having a good year so far. Gotta give credit where it's due. Hopefully he keeps his cool and doesn't kill us with a personal foul. Or at least keeps it to offsetting fouls vs. Dallas. That I could forgive him for...

Yeah, as much as the clip above is funny, DHall was very lucky there. He should have been flagged and it would have resulted in a Dallas first down. This is unfortunately the story of this guy. He plays very well in stretches and then he seems to mentally check out. He misses an assignment, he gets a flagrant foul, etc. His entire career has been marked by these lapses. No reason to think he would change now.

Considering he was willing to restructure his contract to help us out with our salary cap issues, I take issue with fans throwing him under the buss ... especially considering he has matched the offense in scoring during the first half in the first 4 games.
