Right, I knew he wasn't fired but maybe he should have been....and that's the problem tf, if it wasn't Pops you'all would be defensively half way where you need to be by now...

Not a douche move if it's not Pops....

Agree!! With everything else that went on, can you imagine what would be said if Lane had fired his Dad after the Arizona game last year?

The thought of Kennan Allen and Shamarko in the 3rd makes me want to eat my hand.

Fisher is so paranoid that Bradford sucks, that he is getting some serious playmakers.

WR's will be getting separation now. This is going to be fun to watch.

Just hope our soft spot isn't safety.

Deep draft for safeties junkie maybe Fisher thinks he can pick up Thomas, Rambo or Evans with No 113.

Not sure he and Les don't have it right...

junkie, I agree with the B after reading a few articles on McDonald. I have seen Stedman before, I watched a number of West Virginia games, that is why I liked Austin in the first place. He is an A. Olgetree and his side to side speed, sure tackling, an outstanding cover skills(Safety) B+, McDonald huge FS at 6-3 but a bit stiff in covering speed guys, hard hitter but great pedigree C, Stedman. best hands as a WR in the draft, pure position receiver, teammate of Austin to push each other B

So far Fisher and Snead have addressed each problem we have. 3 starters in Austin, Ogletree and McDonald and maybe Stedman if Quick doesn't have a huge fall. Like it so far, I want Barrett Jones or Thomas or Rambo on the 3rd day.

TJ McDonald pick reminds me a lot of the Quick pick last year. The Rams were in the right spot to take someone good and they reached on someone that they have a hunch on

Stedman is a good value pick.

We are going to need to resign Mikell

I agree Clayton, unless Fisher and Snead can find Thomas or Rambo to be there in 16 more picks to give us two, Mikell will have to be signed. Pprobably need to sign him anyway for depth. Interesting and I know a bit out of the box, but I wonder if Fisher are thinking about a 4-2-5 defense in this division. That would make sense with Wilson and Kap in the division. Basically a nickel with press and cover on the outside a FS over the top with 2 press SS for the hash marks. That could be McDonald and Ogletree. Those guys will make the 4 gaps hell to run through whether it is the QBs or RBs and also read the TEs and backs out of the backfield to the flats. If this is the case, we still need a centerfielder which Mikell is not. I would have to see who is left at FS for just the cover and read and flow it would need. Defense is already better with Ogletree and McDonald over Dahl. At least McDonald will never miss the tackle where Dahl never made one.
