Report: Price mocked, cursed at Eckersley

David Price mocked Dennis Eckersley and cursed at him multiple times during the confrontation last month between the Red Sox left-hander and the Hall of Fame pitcher, according to a report published Sunday by the Boston Globe.

Price was annoyed at a comment made by Eckersley during the NESN broadcast of Boston's game against Minnesota earlier that day, when Eckersley said "Yuck" shortly after NESN showed Eduardo Rodriguez's subpar pitching statistics from a rehab outing with Double-A Portland.

As much as I couldn't stand Price when he was pitching in Tampa I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he could be a solid pro and a major contributor to the Red Sox.

Unfortunately, I was right all along and he is mewling quim with no pouch in his pants. What a fucking pussy he is.

If it's not just Price getting pissed off, then there's probably more to the story. It wouldn't be the first time the Boston media tried to push a narrative without providing all the details. What Eck said on the air was tame, but he very well could have said something behind closed doors.

But, at face value, with what's being put out, Price looks like a dbag.

Agreed, Price really doesn't come off as a saint either.

I just find it puzzling that people still take Boston media outlets at their word, especially Dan Shaughnessy. Really wish that douchebag would go away.

Honestly, I'm not aware of this situation with Eckersly, but I need look no further than Price's post season and "big game" regular season stats to determine that he is a thin skinned twat.

The thing is, I'm not sure if there is discontent in this situation. The team seems to be united here. They just come off as d-bags because what Eck said wasn't that bad if that is truly all to the story.
